The cyanotype process is a photographic printing technique that produces cyan-blue prints using UV light. It involves coating a surface (like paper or fabric) with a mixture of two iron-based chemicals, placing an object or negative on it, and exposing it to UV light. After exposure, the unexposed chemicals are washed away with water, leaving a detailed Prussian blue image.
